Princeton graduate
for B.D.

A letter was read from Wm. N. Chambers a
graduate of Princeton College N.J. intimating
that he and two or three other graduates now
attending Princeton Theological Seminary were
desirous of becoming candidates for the degree
of B.D. in this university, but that the time
fixed for the examination did not suit them
and inquiring whether the time could be altered,
or the examination papers entrusted
to one of the Princeton Professors, and the
examination held under his supervision. The
Secretary was instructed to inform Mr. Chambers
that the time and place fixed for the
examiniation cannot be altered.

scholarship

There was read a Protest from H.H.T.
Shibley against the awarding of the Watkins
Scholarship to H.C. Fowler on the alleged
ground of the said Fowler having availed
himself of forbidden helps during the
examination. The Secretary was instructed
to summon Shibley to appear before the Senate
on Monday next at 9 o'clock A.M. with a
as he can adduce in support of his allegation.

The Senate met and was constituted.

Sederunt the Vice Principal Dr. Williamson,
Professors Mowat, Mackerras, Dupuis, Ferguson
and Watson.

The minutes of the last meeting held
Oct. 13th were read and after being amended
were approved.

Mr. Gallaher's
application for B.A.
[/margin]

The Senate took up again Mr. Gallaher's
application and having heard the Vice Principal's
report upon his College certificates resolved.
