Queen's University April 23d 1881

The Senate met and was constituted.
Sederunt Principal Grant, Professors Williamson,
Mowat, Dupuis, Ferguson and Watson and
Messrs. Nicholson and Fowler.

The minutes of the last meeting held 6th
inst. were read and approved.

[margin]H.M. Froiland[/margin]
It was agreed that H.M. Froiland having
now passed in twelve subjects besides French,
although he has attended only three sessions,
shall be allowed to graduate next session without
being required to attend any additional
classes.

[margin]J.R. O'Reilly[/margin]
In reference to an application from
J.R. O'Reilly the Clerk was instructed to inform
him that he cannot be allowed to
graduate this session, since passing in
Junior mathematics cannot be dispensed
with in candidates for graduation.

[margin]Passmen[/margin]
On a review of the written examination
in Arts the Senate sustained the University
examination of the following undergraduates
in the order of merit:
