Queen's University April 5th 1881

The Senate met and was constituted.

Sederunt Principal Grant, Professors Williamson,
Mowat, Dupuis, Ferguson and
Watson, and Messrs Nicholson and Fowler.

The minutes of the last meeting held
1st inst. were read and approved.

[margin]examiners of reports of med. exams[/margin]
Professors Ferguson and Mowat were
appointed to examine the reports of the
examinations in Medicine.

[margin]examiners of prize poems[/margin]
The Principal, and Professors Williamson
and Ferguson were appointed to examine
the Prize Poems.

[margin]J Ross thesis sustained[/margin]
In accordance with the report of the
Committee Mr Ross's Thesis was sustained.

It was agreed to meet on Saturday
23d inst at 4 o'clock P.M. in order to
ascertain the results of the Examinations,
and the Clerk was authorized to give notice
to the students that the results will
probably be announced on the same day
at 6 o'clock P.M.

After the benediction the Senate adjourned
to meet tomorrow at four o'clock P.M.

The Senate revised a part of the Calendar.

Professors Watson and Mowat were appointed
to superintend the printing of the Calaendar.

Closed with the benediciton.
