& continued preparations are being made
for the shore goers We passed a light off
the starboard bow tonight which I
suppose came from an island probably
from Cape Borda on Kangaroo Island
The planets & stars to-night are in
this position you will observe
that they are in the contrary
direction to the rough sketch in
the former part of the Diary As
we cross the Equator they begin
to turn & now they are topsy turvy
