day 1880 with the expectation of seeing
in a few hours all of our Australian friends
but alas human hopes are oft disappoin
ted & I have reluctantly to put down
the already known to you fact the
death of Uncle & Aunt whom I had
so long expected to see They departed
this life Feb 1 & 3 & have gon to
their long sleep to await the resurrection
of the dead by the last great triumph
of the Archangel.
