Bishop Otey,

Dear Sir,

Accept my acknowleg-
-ment for the honor of your invitation
to be present on an occasion so {illegible}
with hope and promise to the Church,
and our country generally.

Providence permiting it will afford
me very great pleasure to attend, tho'
I shall have still further to trespass
