A few questions on this:

1. The "96" in text, does that need to be added anywhere?
2. There is a tiny ink blot or image. Should that be indicated in some way?
3. The red ink stamp, is there a special way to indicate this when transcribing?
4. How and where does one indicate sideways writing?

Seattle Municipal Archives

Thanks for these questions, and sorry for the late reply!
1- The "96" does not need to be included
2 - No need to note the ink blot
3 - For the red ink stamp info, just entering "Filed Sept 27 1880" is good, as you've done.
4 - You can just transcribe the words as you've done, no need to indicate the writing is sideways
