That on the 12" day of May
A. D. 1892 the Board of Park Commissioners
met pursuant to call of the Chairman
in their Chambers in the Baily Block.
At roll call the following members were present.
Burgess
Bailey
Barker
Bennett
Evans

Chairman Burgess the stated that the
object of the meeting was to confer with
Supt. Schwagerl regarding the work on
the Parks.

On motion of Mr Barker Supt. Schwagerl
was extend the courtesy of the floor.

Mr. Schwagerl then stated that it would
be for the best interests of the City to hire
Park laborer by the month, for owing to
the nature of their duties they would often
be required to begin work very early in
the morning and to continue the same
after sun set in the evening.

On motion by Barker the Supt. was instructed
to employ by the month Park attendants
nursery men and such other help as would
be required for the proper care of the plants
in the parks.
