On motion of manning it was agreed
to [unknown] at the Qualifications of
the four men dropped from the force
namelyl Carwford, Rod, Millgrew
and Longfellow at some future time.

The Chf stated that a receiving
Hospital would be a great saving
to the City and on motion the clerk
was instructed to ask the Board
of Public Works to fit up the
building owned by the City next
to the Jail and turn it over to the
Chief of Police to be used as a Rcv'g
Hospital.

The Chief asked that a Desk
be furnished him stating
that the one he had was borrowed
the Clerk was instructed to ask the
Board of Public Works to furnish the
Chief a desk.

On motion the Board adjourned
to meet at this next regular meeting
January 15th AD 1891
