Be it remembered that on this the 15th
day of January AD 1891. The Board of
Police Commissioner of the City of Seattle
met pursuant to adjournment at their
regular monthly meeting: At Roll
Call the following members are present
His Honor the mayor Harry White Jr[?]
and Com's[?] D. E. Ledgerwood Saul L. Crawford
Gogny[?] and A. H. Manning : H Geo Munroe

Whereupon the following proceedings
are had:

Minutes of the last meeting read. and appd.

Communications from Chirf Munroe saying
he had inspected Officer Isaac Tellen
Jany 9th 91 for conduct unbecoming an
officer and requested Mr. Tellen Detective
Breton Rodgers and Reporter for and of the
Telepgraph to appear as witnesses before
the Board of Police Coms for investigation of
the charges; the action of Chief Munroe
in inspecting Mr Tellen was appeased by
the Board.

The Chief was asked to make a statement
of the case: He said that he was not
an eye witness to the affair but it had
been represented to him that Officer
Tellen had used undue cruelty in
making an arrest and on the strength of
the statements her had suspended the
officer - awaiting the action of the Coms
