Minutes of Council Meeting, Dec. 18 - 1899

Meeting called to order by Mr C R Hepler. Roll call showed all present. Mr H H A Hastings, Mayor elect was seated. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved The water committee reported that the present site of the water reservoir be surveyed in order that the same maybe [condemmed?] for water purposes whereupon a motion was made and carried that a third member be added to the water committee and that they attend to the said survey.

Upon report of the street committee in regard to defectiv] sidewalks on Ferdinand street it was moved and carried that a survey be made of Ferdinand street from Noble street to Brent street in order that a grade be established before laying sidewalks

The town marshal was authorized and directed to notify teamsters not to drive on sidewalks in the town.
