Miss Ester Scott Sandy Springs, Md.

Dear Ester Scott:

Just a note to let you know that the JGeissler's application has again been turned down, and of course, they are very unhappy. I feel, however, that this delay should not bother us too much; we are quite used to seeing the American consuls stalling a good deal before they open the doors of God's own country.

I have sent your letter to Kassel, and am very glad indeed that you are keeping in touch with the family and are helping them to stand this very difficult and harassing waiting.

Cordially,

Hertha Kraus
