Dearest Mother;

Thanksgiving
day and believe me
I think it is the best one
I have ever had - I have
a lot to be thankful for
first I am alive, second
I just had a nice dinner -
and third I have a lovely
mother & home - over in little
Mary land. the best of the three.
I just took a walk over
to Consdorf and bought 600 $
worth of "Y" goods and brought it
back to the men and
soon had the money back.
This was the best that I could
do for the men - chocolate
soup cakes & cigarettes.
