Clear and cool. I went to the store in the morning, Lucy
and I [both?] store in the afternoon, there to the Lyceum
to the Horiticultural exhibition: William at the Lyceum
all morning helping fix: Joe at work in the meadows
all the week. A letter from father from Petersburgh.

17th 1st day
Clear beautiful day: Eddie, Arthur and Charlie
Stabler called here before meeting: Annie Miller here to
dinner: Lucy, Joe and I went to Harewood in the
afternoon and took a walk to Sandy Grove; Annie M.
went with us: William went to Baltimore today.

18th 2d day
Cloudy all day, with some rain in the afternoon
turned very cool: William got home from Baltimore
about half past 7 oclock: I went to Harewood
awhile in the afternoon.

18th 3d day
Clear, cool day: Lucy walked to Uncle Samuels and back
before dinner: I went to the store and Harewood in the
morning: Louisa Pleasants came before dinner. Kate
here to supper: [Alsop?] from Snow Hill here
in the afternoon.
