Clear morning, cloudy most afternoon.
Father went to Baltimore, by way of Elliotts Miller
Lucy went to Uncle Samuels in the morning, to
the Cottage to stay all night. Lou dined at Harewood
William took here to Sharon after supper.

4th 4th day
Cold and cloudy most of the day: Henrietta, Lucy, Mary
and Frank came up, Frank went back in the carriage
in the afternoon: at monthly meeting, Lucy and myself
represented [out] family at meeting today: Fannie Gilpin
here two hours in the afternoon, Kate called awhile
Lucy Snowden and myself went in [Thee's?] carriage to
L. L and Ashton and walked home: William went to
Washington.

5th 5th day
Cold, and cloudy part of the day: Henrietta and Lucy
called at Wetheralds and Stanmore in the morning: Aunt
Jane here to supper: father got home from Baltimore about
4 oclock: William came from Washington about seven.

7th 6th 6th day
Clear most of the day: cold: father took mother and Henrietta
went to Uncle Samuel's in the afternoon and left them
then went to Walnut Hill to see Lizzie Tyson and other
places, back to Uncle Samuels to supper: Sarah Stabler and
Lizzie spent the afternoon here.
