Rained most of the day: had an appointed meeting
at 10 oclock for a man friend by the name of
Powell; Fred Stabler came a 7 oclock to take
Lucy to New Market rained too much for
them to go: Fred dined here: father went to
Uncle Samuels after supper: found Catherine
[L?]oulk, Richard and Elizabeth Plummer there
William got home abour 9 oclock

5^th 1 day
Clear and windy and cold: father took Lucy to
Uncle Samuels before meeting, brought mother
home: the friends dined here, father took them
to Uncle Samuels after dinner: James Hallowell
and Athur here awhile in the afternoon.
William at the Cottage after supper.

6^th 2^d day
Clear day: I spent part of the morning at Harewood:
went to Uncle Samuels awhile in the
afternoon, called at the Cottage: father at Brooke
Grove in the morning cleaning clocks.
