Clear and warm: Lucy called at M. H. Briggs's
and at Fulford in the morning: father went for
Lizzie, Estelle and Annie Tyson in the afternoon, and
took them home again after supper: I called at Ginnie
Moores awhile after dinner.

5th 3d day
Cold and cloudy: father went to Rockville, brought
Mary and Lottie Pleasants home with him in the
afternoon: Mollie Wood and Sarah Miller here to supper
Ben Miller fter supper: Lucy dined at Uncle Samuels
William went to Washington.

6th 4th day
Cold and cloudy: at monthly meeting: a Library meeting
here in the afternoon Ester Wetherald, Rachel Gilpin
and Ellen Farquhar; Lucy went to Plainfield to
meet the wedding company: I went with Mary and
Lottie P. to Harewood to supper. William got home
about 9 oclock.

7th 5th day
Cloudy morning with some rain; bright sfternoon,
wind and cold: Lucy got home from Plainfield after
dinner. father took Mary, Lottie and myself to Uncle
Samuels to cal them to Alban Gilpins to tea, they went
to the lecture [illegible?] B. Hallowell and then home; Lucy at
the lecture, William not well enough to go
