Clear day: Lucy went to the Cottage in the morning, home
to dinner, I went with her to Uncle Samuels in the
afternoon, I staid all night, Lucy went in to M. P. Millers
father started in the stage for Harford g. m.

9^th 7^th day
Cold and cloudy all morning, snowed all the afternoon
rained after night. I came home from Uncle
Samuels in the morning; William went over to Howard
county to the Lailors, in the morning.

11^th 1^st day
Cloudy morning, bright afternoon: Lucy came home from
M. P. Millers; William went to Uncle E. Thomas's to supper
no company here: Joe at Harewood after supper.

11^th 2^d day
Cloudy most of the day: Lucy went to William Moores
to stay several days: I went to Sherwood awhile in
the afternoon: William at [Atholwood?] after supper.

12^th 3^d day
Cloudy all day, rained most of the day: father
came home from g. m.

13^th 4^th day
Tolerably fair day: Lucy came home from William Moores
