Snowed all day, 'till about 4 oclock: Sister and I
went to Kenleys to tea, Brother came after tea.

31^st 1^st day
Cloudy all day, with a little snow: went down to the
reading before meeting to meeting and home to dinner,
down to Gardners in the afternoon, to 1st say school
with Mary. Then called at Eli Lambs, to Gardner's to
supper and to Emerson Lamb;s after tea.

1^st mo. 1^st 1866 2^d day
Cloudy all day, with some rain: staid at Gardners 'till
12 oclock, then called to see Aunt Martha, and home to
dinner, found Emily Snowden just ready to go home,
sister and I called at Uncle John Reeses in the afternoon,
to Edward Reese's to tea, Brother there too,
we went to Charles after tea.
