Clear day: father went to Rockville to attend court
as a juror. Mother went to the Cottage in the
to Uncle Samuels to stay all night: William at
Brooke Grove dam skating in the afternoon. Lucy
called at Harewood in the morning, at Gennie
Moores in the afternoon.

6^th 3^d day
Clear day: William took Lucy to the Cottage in
the morning, and brought mother home: he went to
Tom Lea's skating in the afternoon: mother at
Harewood in the afternoon.

7^th 4^th day
Clear early morning, clouded up before 9 oclock,
some rain in the afternoon: I called at Sherwood
before meeting: went to Uncle Samuels in the afternoon
to stay all night: William went to Riverside
in the evening.

8^th 5^th day
Cloudy all day, with a heavy mist, a sleet when
we got up. I came home in the afternoon with
William, when he went for his market load.
Joshua and Henry Russell called here in the
morning.
