Cloudy all day, with rain at night: father I came home
before meeting, went to meeting: father got home about
two oclock ^{from Rockville} and went down to Jane Schooleys: Joe
went to town yesterday, home today.

15^th 5^th day
Clear cold and very windy. Lucy and I went to
Westheralds, called at Stanmore both going and coming

16^th 6^thday
Clear and cold: William went to Washington: father
went down to Jane Schooleys in the afternoon:
Lucy went to Uncle Samuel's in the afternoon, I
went to Harewood awhile. Cousin Samuel Bevan
came about 5 oclock, to stay all night. My birthday.
mercury down to 5 here.

17^th 7^th day
Clear and cold. cousin Samuel left early this
morning: Kate and Emily Gilpin here to tea, went
to the lecture: William got home in time to go to the
lecture: Lucy came home from the lecture.

18^th 1^st day
Clear when we got up, but soon cclouded over, begun
to rain about 10 oclock, and rained most of the day
