19th 2d day
CLoudy with rain all the morning, cleared of at sunset:
Cousin Samuel went in the stage: father
went to Avondale in the afternoon, on his way to
Baltimore: Lucy at Harewood awhile in the afternoon
I went to Uncle Samuel's after dinner, to stay all night
20th 3d day
Clear day: I came home from Uncle Samuels in the
morning, went to Sherwood to tea: Lucy went to
Burnside in the morning, to stay all night.
Not a very good day for me: quite impatient many
times, and at very little things too: why can't I be
more watchful, and careful.
21st 6th day
Clear day: Lucy came home from Burnside before
meeting: went to meeting: I went to Ben Miller's
in the afternoon, William went for after supper
quiet impatient again this morning: and at a very
little thing
