Clear day: father in the woods again all day: took
mother to Uncle Samuels after dinner: I went to the
office, but the mail was so late, I did not wait, it did
not come until after three oclock: Kate, Emily Pointer,
Emily Gilpin, Phil and Arthur here after supper.

27^th 3^d day
Clear day: father went to Rockville: Joe went to Uncle
Samuels for mother in the afternoon: Lucy at Harewood
awhile in the morning and again in the afternoon:
she and I went to see Ginnie Moore after tea.

28^th 4^th day
Clear day: father in the woods all day: did not go to
meeting: Joe at meeting: I went to the store before meeting
Lucy went to William Moores from meetng: Aunt
Rebecca came here.

A very poor day for me: out of patience a good many
times, and at things too trifling to lose my patience
about.

One year today, since Him and Phebe were married,
what a busy tho' pleasant it way: and the day
before too.
