JUNE 2
Drove to office in Express wagon &
sent it home by Willie "Frank" being
quite lame in his left hind foot. Charley
came after me at dinner time. Willie &
I went again to office after tea & remained
there & at store until dark.

67 degrees Sunday Clear S.W.
JUNE 3
Went to "Meeting" & from there took Harry
T Leas' horse & buggy & Charly & I went
to aunt Eliza Kirks' where we dined.
Quite a shower whilst there. Jas; Jackson
& Will Gilpin took tea with us. More
rain in Evening.

JUNE 4
Rode to office on horseback. Sandy
Scrivener came for advice and such, also several
other persons including Edwd Stabler Sr.
Rode to office again afternoon. C
with me.

Raining all early part of the day -
Levi Shaw been after me, also
Caleb Dorsey. Went to Dorseys' to see
"Sandy" Scrivener & to Shaws' to see
his wife. Saml Scott dentist
called for advice & medicine.
Thunder shower towards night
Gilbert T Smith called.

Cloudy JUNE 6 Showery.
Heavy thunder lightning & rain last
night, slept unusally well however.
Went on horseback to George Spriggs' to
Sharon & Fulford. Sandy Scrivener called.
Thunder Shower again towards night.

Cloud & Rain JUNE 7
Rained at intervals all last night and
threatning & showery this morning. Catherine
Williams & niece came to wash for H. Miss
Lucy & Mary Snowden called the former to have
a small tumor removed from her neck. Edwd;
Peirce & daughter Alice called.
