Went to see Larkin Johnson at Lou Snowdens:
Went to office afternoon. Charley
to Riverside for butter, he left brown mare
& brought back Ernests' colt. I went
again to see Larkin Johnson & Remus
Hill called for advice & medicine.
Boarders came back to Riverside &
to Fulford - Crumpton worked all day.

JUNE 21

Was sent for early in the morning to visit
Wm Harry Stabler. Rebecca Biddle and
her niece Martha - called for advice
for the latter - went to see Larkin
Johnson, prescribed for E. L. Davies & lanced
abcess on his right wrist - Went again to
the office. Afternoon, B R Roberts & wife
called, C Crumpton worked all day
Heavy thunder storm in evening.

Quite cool after the rain - Went to
see Larkin Johnson & Jim Cooler - Chas
Crumpton worked all day-

Lucy Stabler called at the door to report
her father better. Chas Crumpton worked all
day - Bro: Chas came over & spent several
hours here talking business. Went to
office before & afternoon. G. S Smith sent my
revolver from Balts: for: Harry Gilpin - Sister B
called whilst we were at tea. Ernest took tea
with us.

JUNE 24

Very cool wind blowing - had fire in the
Franklin stove at breakfast time.
Went to "meeting" Bros Chas: & Richd: came
the latter to spend the night with us. Ernest
Frank Snowden & Frank Gilpin here. Rchd Bentley
Jr: James Jackson & Harry Lea called
Dora & Charles took tea at Camille Chandlees'.
Mrs Jno: King called with her
infant for advice & med:

Bro R left in the Stage for Laurel St
Balto:- Went to see Wm Moore at "Stanmore"
also Jim Cooler & Henson Hill called at
Cousin Mary Chandlees' Lavinia Hood
& daughter called for advice &c. Also
Saml J Leisure. Charley worked the
garden with cultivator.
