Tuesday, March 25th, 1890
I am feeling rather better but
still have head ache. Charley went
down below Spencerville to see
some sick & also to Jim Hill's
& P.T. Stabler's. I went with him
to Ashton & walked back from
there. C went away again in the
afternoon and I was sent for and
went down and prescribed for
Mary T. Bond after dark. "Kitcle"
Abel went with me from Ashton
and back. It commenced raining
afte I started & continued all the
rest of the night.

Wednesday, March 26th, 1890
Cleared off beautifully
early this p.m. and continued so
all day. The wind commenced
blowing from N.W. about 11.oclk
and continued all day. Charley
drove down below Spencerville
in the morning. I went with him
to the Bone Mill where I went
again & prescribed for Mrs Bond
Miss Caroline Bond & for a
servant woman. Called at Ashton
& got a new glass for the "old clock"
face etc. Afternoon Saml Bond
was here for medicine for his
mother. Sam Budd's wife was
also here [dunning] Charley & myself.
I walked down to "Alf" Bell's to see
his wife for Harriet about doing some
washing for her tomorrow. After tea
Charley went to "Crow Town" to a
rehearsal of a play in which he
has promised to take a part at
an exhibition for the benefit of the
Brighton Grange to aid in getting
a new piano. He went on horse back
and took a basket of clothes down
to Alf Bell's for his mother. Phil
Robison came in and played
with Edward after supper
until bed time.
