Saturday, March 29th, 1890
Much colder & wind still high.
William Oldfield's wife was here
for advice & medicine. Charley
drove "Fritz" to my "road cart" down to
Dr. Thomas' place to see the Bell woman
again & after dinner he took Dora as
far as Ashton on her way to see her
aunt Hallie at the "Cottage" he going
on to "Glenwood" to be gone until
tomorrow night. "Bill Henderson"
was here about supper time to
see Charley. Willie came home
about "sunset" from Atholwood
where he has been nearly all
of the past week. I walked up
to Wm Oldfield's shop to get a
brace bit with which I mended
the little high chair for "Bessie."

Sunday, March 30th, 1890
Clear and beautiful all day
The wind blew quite strong most of
the day. "Bill Henderson" was here again
before breakfast & went away before
I could get down stairs. Bro: Richd
called on way to meeting. Dora walked
up to Edwd Peirces & to church. After
dinner Willie took "Fritz" & my buggy
and went after Dora. I walked
down to "The Cottage" to see sister H
and remained there until after tea.
Dora & Willie came home some time
after my return. Leana Williams
(colored) was here for advice &
medicine soon after breakfast. I had
a pleasant visit at Chas Stabler's &
met Saml Thomas & wife "Patty
Stabler & Willie Gilpin besides their
own family.
