Went again to see War'k Stabler
whom I found much improved.
Old Mary Ann Drayton called to
see me also Old "Uncle Henson".

Afternoon Rachael Proctor was
here for advice & medicine.
Went to the P.O. & mailed a letter
to "Editors Balto Daily Sun", renewing
my subscription for two
months from the 14th inst.

Isaac Hartshorne was here this
morning for Harry Lea's Life Insurance
Examination papers, which
he took with him & mailed.

Friday Aug. 13,th 1897.

Clear & cool in the shade Went to
see War'k Stabler again. Afternoon
I walked to Ashton & rode back
with Asa Stabler. Willie & Fanny
came & brought the "sitz bath" and
W. & I took it up to Saml Wetherald's
The "Physicians Social Club" met here.
All the members being present except
Dr Magruder who is taking
his summer vacation out of the
neighborhood. Bessie Robison and
Miss Mary Trippe Fowler, & little
Mabel Fussell came over and
after helping wait on the table
which Bessie did, they took supper
here. After I had gone to bed,
Minnie & Ernest came for advice
& medicine for "Rhus Tox" poisoning
in the case of Bessie Rust who is
staying with them at present.
