10. o' clk this a.m. on bicycle for
Washington and was back at

the baby came before lunch

in his "jagger" after dinner.
The Kummer young men were
to be buried in one grave
this afternoon. They were drowned
between 9. & 10. o' clk thursday

body was recovered on friday
after night, but Roberts was not

Cloudy, Rainy & Clear Variable
Ther. THURS. MAY 11th, 1899. Wind
It commenced raining again
between 4 & 5. o'clk this morning
and was threatening more or less
until towards evening when it
cleared off beautifully with the
wind from N.W. I have seldom
seen a more beautiful spring
sunset. Fanny drove over this
morning, but went back before
lunch. Edwd rode with her as
far as "Mt Airy" & walked back
calling at Sherwood on his
way home in time for lunch.
John Thomas (of Clifton) was
here to see me again about his
throat; in the afternoon Old
John was also here. I filed
the wood saw again, and
fixed up the "vase, or urn" for
growing flowers in the yard.
Went to the store & P.O. morning
& afternoon. After supper
Edwd walked over to John
Bentley's.
