caused considerable discussion, and while
many thought that under certain circumstances
they were an advantage, they often did more
harm than good.

8^th Would you buy straw at $5.00 per ton or
gather leaves to put in barn yard? If the
straw is convenient buy that, if not gather leaves.

9^th Shall I manure garden + truck patch before
or after plowing? Before 6, after 9, and some
both before + after.

10^th What grass seed do you sow on wheat and how
much per acre? Tim. + Clover generally, though
some said no Tim. and nearly all less than
formerly. From 4 to 6 qts Clover + from 2 to
5 qts Tim per acre

11^th When and where shall we buy mill feed?

decided that each member should make all
possible inquiry on the subject and report to

12^th What shall we do with a strawbery bed overgrown
with weeds? clean out and mulch.

13^th How long and thick should fencing boards be
sawed? From 14 to 16 ft long + 1/8 in thick.
