one of the most useful organisations
of this well organised
community.

While being thrown together for
our mutual enjoyment, we are
learning from each other the cultivation
of flowers, the proper education
of our children & grand
children, besides the fine arts
in the culinary and every
other department of the household.
We are advocating temperance
and are acative in
support of books & libraries. In
short so many good things are
disseminated for the benefit of
ourselves and others that we hope
the society will long continue
a cherished and leading factor
in the great work of enlightening
Sandy Spring.
