received Milton Bancroft gave the following items -
The Olney Tank is completed & is very satisfactory. The
Council has taken a stand against roadside signs. The
Boy Scout Troop is growing, and a camp at Triadelphia
has been given them. The Council is in favor of a
Central Spraying Plant on which individuals can
call when their trees need spraying. It was moved by
Sarah T. Adams, 2nd by Emily Coulter that the Report of
the Council be put in regular order of business. The
motion was carried. Elizabeth Ligon as Forethought
suggests putting Summer Sunshine in quart jars & Jelly
glasses. Mrs Wild suggests that we sponsor a
telephone exhibition, if television is desired she says
30 days notice is required. Some thought this should
be given at The School. It was moved & carried
that this be left in the hands of the Program Com.

Questions
Lucy Moore are lady bugs beneficial or injurious to
Cabbages. If true lady bugs; "No" as they do not injure
vegetation.

If you plant timothy this Fall and should not plant
clover next Spring would you have a crop? Yes
tho it is kale for planting

Milton Bancroft Is it too late to attempt to get a good
set of grass? Not too late if sown with rye. Pasture
rye rather than turn to hay.

Annie Kirk has a small evergreen almost dead, one
shoot living, some say cut it off shall I? Yes if
really dead.

Elza Thomas asks for books for School Library.
Milton Bancroft says city schools have establieshed
libraries for Schools & Neighborhood. He thinks one should
be established near Sherwood School. The sentiment
of the Meeting was asked. - The Ayes have it. It was
moved & carried that a Com. of Three be appointed
Milton Bancroft, Huldah Janney & Jean Coulter were
asked to serve on this Com.
