Olney Inn
644th Meeting. Nov. 1930
The regular meeting of the Home Interest
met promptly at six o'clock at Mt. Olney Inn
as quests of Edwin & Faith Morris, which
is a long drive over our unfamiliar
road, and releived the hostess of all personal
responsibility, in catering to the wants
of the inner man, which it is needless to say,
was fully up to the high standard set by Mr.
and Mrs. Downey, in serving their daily quests.
We thoroughly enjoyed the repast!

Milton Bancroft read the minutes of last
meeting Retreat, recording a pleasant and interesting
occasion, after which Helen Hallowell
read minutes of meeting held Nov. 28th
1887, in Dr. Francis Thomas sec'y seemingly
very interesting to both members & guests.

Next three places of meeting are
Homestone, Braemar & [Arseldoon?] at
the latter place Dec, 30th 30 Moved
that the committee furnish subjects for each
of these meetings.

Forethought Committee suggest hilling
up the ground around rose bushes to prevent
goats {freegrazing?].

Road signs have been placed at Ashton
and those at Norbeck will be supplied in
near future, we were told

The matter of inaugurating a neighbrohood
spraying activity with suitable outfitt, was
reported as being under consideration

Richd & Lausdale & Hulda Janney were
appointed committeed on Forethought.

A most entertaining account of their
trip abroad by Mr. & Mrs. Allan Farquhar they
haveing sailed on the S.S. Geo. Washington, from
New york, Aug 18th last. It seems they were the
first passengers aboard and as Allan said,
"hurrah for Sandy Spring"! They had a
most interesting & enjoyable message and met
a very warm reception in England, with
