Among the many points of interest visited was
the churchyard where Gray wrote his elegy.
Drove thru England, Wales & Scotland the
regular tourists drive of 15 days with extreme
pleasure and interest wonderful flowers every
where and over five roads. Visited Burns
last home in Scotland.
Their account of visit to Paris was particularly
interesting. Allan remarking that they did not
tell all altho he did refer interestingly to Napoleons
movements, etc.
Questions - Chas. Hawthorn said the average loss, in
Fowls from yard to kitchen was said to be
2 to 3 lbs., But a tests showed 17 1/2 to 11 3/8 lbs.

plow garden - Ans. No.?.

Also, Is it null to remove leaves - Ans. Yes,

Richd Lansdale - why do oak trees retain
their lower leaves? Not exposed to winds as much.
