uralized citizens enlisted
in the C.S. service must
serve out the time for
which they enlisted, when
they are to be discharged
by the Brigr. Genl. Commandg.

Such are the instructions
and information received
this day from Hd. Qrs.
of the A. of the Mis. [Army of the Mississippi]

The within named sol
dier having enlisted for
12 months, commencing
on the 1st of last Oct.
he cannot be discharged
until the period of his
enlistment shall have
been served out.
