To Make a Good Green, to colour a
Room
Take Lamb Black and french [chik?]
and size made of white [leather?], to be
made Lighter or Darker, as you like

To Make a Sponge Cake
Take fifteen Eggs, leave out half the
whites beat them well for near an
hour with a wisk, then beat the yolks
half an hour, put to the yolks ten ounces
of loaf sugar sifted fine beat it well in
then put half a pound of Rice flour
a little brandy the rinds of two lemons
grated, then put in the whites & beat
them all well together for a quarter of
an hour, then put them into a hoop
or tin for half an hour in a quick oven.
