HB Heacock Committee

On motion of HB Heacock the [Ep?onth] League
Contention Committee was requested to set apart
immediately following that gathering a day to be
known as Pacific Grove day, to be properly observed,
and that the Chautauqua Assembly Committee be
requested to give us the afternoon for suitable obser-
vance of the Same.

Dr. [Filbeu] - Lead of that Committee [designated?] the 24
of July as practicable, & it was accepted.
HB Heacock & Thos [Filbeu] were appointed to car-
ry the plan [?] execution.

The Association proceeded with the Election of
Directors for the ensuing year. The results were
the choice of Geo. Clifford HB. Heacock Henry
French, Geo D. Kellog A.L. Kellogg, T.B. Hop-
kins, H.E. WIlliamson M.C. Briggs J.W.
Whiting E.R. Dille & W.B. [Priddy]
George Clifford for President
HB. Heacock secretary
Additional members of the Executive Committee
Henry French, A.L. Kellogg, H.E. Williamson
George Clifford was appointed to see that a correct
history of the Grove from its origin shall be
written & filed with the association.

After the minutes were read and approved,
the association adjourned.
