This was done too late to get the bath house this year,
but is promised in the year 1903.

The Sunday question which disturbed us a year ago
has been settled by a good civil ordinance. The Law has
been accepted by all and the chief agitator has sold [margin]151[/margin]
our and left town.

The question of Liquor and gambling has had careful
attention with the help of a detective during the year.
The facts seemed to disclose some abuse of Liquor sel-
ling in one of the drug stores but all other rumors
of liquor [?] fell to the ground.

It was found that gambling was carried on in one
of the cigar stores, but the season was at an End &
it seemed unlikely that prosection could be effected
before the new season sets in, so the matter was passed
over for the present. The reports of the detective are
on file and his services to be utilized again to
carry the matter further.

The general results of his report were very satisfac-
tory as showing a clean moral audition.

The business concessions made last year proved
helpful & were hailed with satisfaction by the people.

I recommend the concessions asked by Messrs
Williamson & [W??ston].

The following is the report of the Secretary which was

The Report of the Superintendent [shows] the
past to have been a year of progress.

mittee necessary.
