the necromancer may form the spirit into whatever
semblance or form he wishes. He knows how to do this,
but it is an art that causes death to anyone who gives himself
over to it evilly. For the person who does not take care will be
damned in body and soul. But now we will look at

Now I want to talk about the clouds, to understand what they
are, and also about rain. The sun is the basis for
all heat and all weather.
Just as the heart of a person is the basis for the heat that abounds in
him, so the sun is the heart of the world and the basis of everything
it it that has the nature of heat. For by it everything that is
born in the earth has life and lives. So it pleases Our Lord
that you should hear and remember the matter and substance
of this book, as will be described below. For the sun causes the
