from all parts of our
beloved country and take
in a wide range.
You have been more
than ordinarily identified
with the interests of this

American Church and I
must take a pastor's
privilege of expressing my
sympathy with you and
pray that the Great
Comforter may bring you
rich and sweet heavenly
consolation in this new
hour of trial. We have
borne you before the Throne
of the Heavenly Grace and
we will still remember
you when we say "Our
Father." The beauty of the
world passeth, but the
things of Christ remain
