My dearly Beloved Friend:

I wish I were seated by your side, that we might talk of the glories of that Beautiful World where dwell your beloved ones. It was a great shock to me, to hear of the death of Governor Stanford. I had hoped and expected to see him again, in the flesh. I shall never forget my last conversation with the
