here quietly awaiting the coming of October when the Bishops will open for me a church in one of the Eastern conferences. I would gladly have remained in Calif a could I have had a church away from the coast fogs; but the Howard St work came near breaking me down forever. Am strong and well again. I wrote to Senator S. at Washn asking for the Chaplaincy of the Univy at $2500.
