love, in such severe trial, but we know the divine sympathy is with us, and will sustain us.

I know the Dear Lord is very near you, and will comfort you - but we are very human. Although we know our loved ones are not far away - not lost to usonly gone before, and are waiting for us, still we miss the daily, companionship - the protection and comfort that their presence gave, and the words of encouragement and love so often spoken - to us it

is very sad, still we are comforted in the belief that they are still watching over us, and know our inward hearts better than they could know them here.

I am glad to know that you are bearing your cross so bravely. And I so greatly admire your husband's wisdom in giving you his work and plans to carry out. You are still living and working for him and your son. A lovely mission, which I do not doubt, you will continue to carry out to the end.
