that confidence that love that has
come in my pathway which I feared
was strewn with thorns but is proving
to be a bed of roses. I am the happiest
woman in the world today and
you have been the instrument in
Gods hands to make me so
I thank you from the bottom of
my heart Now in regard to the
"Home" for the future long or short as
it may be. two weeks ago I didnt
care for length of years. Now I
should like Methuselah time to
enjoy what looks so bright Rather
a singular coincidence occured
yesterday. Just as your letter came
Mr Ogden came in for Mr Tilling
Last to make alterations here
so I asked him to go with me to
292 and advise what is best to
do there. In looking it all over

I feared it may cost between two and three thousand
dollars at the lowest and only one luxury included
are you prepared for that expense. the entire basement
is decayed so that new floors drainage and plumbing
must be made over. A new bath room, roof partitions
changed &c — Now dear friend if you think thats
too steep I will cut off the luxury. I dont want
to spend one penny more than you think I ought
to even the stairs have to be made over. Mr Ogden
meets me tomorrow morning to help me place
for what is needed there. If you agree to what
I have written please telegraph I must leave
this house by the first of May and I must arrange
