The UNDERSIGNED HEREBY DECLARES his devotion to American Industrial Independence, and pledges himself to pay to the AMERICAN PROTECTIVE TARIFF LEAGUE annually, the sum of One Hundred (100) Dollars (or so much thereof as may be called for in any year by the Executive Committee) with the privilege of terminating this obligation by giving written notice to the General Secretary of the League on or before December 31st for each year thereafter.

MEMBERSHIP OR INITIATION FEE.

"Defenders, on election, shall pay a fee of one hundred dollars, and each successive year such part of one hundred dollars as may be asked by the Executive Committee, but this obligation shall terminate by death or by written notice of the subscriber." - From Article III of the Constitution.

THE INITIATION FEE OF $100 COVERS THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE CURRENT YEAR
