JANUARY 14 1933 Mon. up at 7 [unh?] all day as usual, studying tonight. I miss [?] like the devil. I wish I could see her & talk to her. She seems to be in pretty good shape, just from [lovesm...s?]. 1931. Wed. Just another day. I turned down a dinner date with the K. As for tomorrow night. Mailed a letter to Larry that I shouldn't have. Thought out [l..d?] too much. It was [nigh?] too damned [?]. 1932 Thurs. Walked all day from 9-1 [PM?]. Got my [?] all caught up sort of pooped but have a clean conscience again. Guess I'll turn in. Cold as [sfed?] here raining all day

34 Two. Classes & study all morning. Now & night. Committee meeting & studies all afternoon. B.B gone with Louise. 8-10:30 study 10:45-11:45. I feel pooped after a big day.

JANUARY 20 1935. Sun. Up at 9. Unpacked stuff etc. Got dressed for (Louises Birthday) [unh?] and meet in time for 11:30 to 5. Get by O.K. forgot all about [J?'s] birthday till I [wath?] her tonight. [?] around in station to watch her close up turned in at 11:30 not [t?] tired, but happy except for forgetting [?].
1931. Tues. Bab. G. called up tonight and asked me to a family formal Sat the 31. That is when [Nid?] will be up so it all depends on him.
1932. Wed. Studied this afternoon. [Co?] in the morning. Went to a [sh?] tonight! Turning in at 11:15. [?]
1933. Fri. [Cl?] this morning out for [? and drmh Les?]. [Gas?] pledged tonight [?] end well. Spent [morning?] [steve?]. Rained all day. I [walked?] in at 12. [Jumped?] papa by [ap?] making all afternoon.
1934. Sat. Up at 10. [Lid? slopping?] went up [m"lfecher"?] to meet gang. For [stumn aty?]. Come back in ["Watsu?"] to [drenals?] + get temporary first bid opening [break?] - let around fire at cabin tonight [Tallers stain?] etc. Turned in at 11:30 not [?] tired after a good day [enegrt fr?] [?]. - [Im sp?], Ben P, [Mysel?], Mrs. Grey, [Ravis?], Louise, [?] Beth are the [nats + ?].
JANUARY 21 1935. Mon. Up at 8:30 spent most of day at station [?] events. Filing stuff etc. Tonight Dad and [?] Jargen [lv Un?]. He feels [uot Irish how limo?] [undue Weatdre?] + bowled withboys in station. Turned in 11:30.
1931. Weds. I guess it doesn't look like it from this diary but College is a hell of a lof of [eens] with some fun mixed in. Started at 8A.M this morning and I'm calling it a day at 11P.M. The [atta?] days
1932. Thurs. Classes in the morning. Woman pledging tonight [?] didn't do any studying Barbara [?]. [That of what will my?] side of a little dancing at the [?].
1933. Sat. Rained this morning. Ben Pays. Limie, Betty, [Wat?] , Virginia [?], [?], and I left in [?] for weekend party on Louises' birthday. [?] yesterday, had [?] dinner. Turned in about 2.
1934. Sun. Up at 10 - Breakfast etc. [unlead?] no spring this A.M. [Running 20] took walk. This A.M. played bass [?] with [?]. Went to [?] to say good bye - [?] up and left at 9:40 - [Drove?] leaves of spring. [Animal at ?] 11:25 - Cleaned up and turned in at 12:30 [?] of Third after [?]. -

JANUARY 22 1935 Tues. Up at 7. Watch in open station did some [?] and [?] and made up list [?] customers etc. [?]. [Walked home?] 4 to 10:30 [?] turned in at 11:15 after bath.
1931. Thursday. [Lost my speech?] (while I was asleep) between 12PM and 7AM. Got Barb Van [?] a date with Babe [G?] for the formal [?] tomorrow night.
1932 Fri. [?] today did fairly well I think. Did no studying as usual. [fould?] away the whole morning trying to decide what to do.
1932 Sun. Rain again today. Sat around in cabin [weday?] left for [?] about 7. Stayed at [?] house till 11. Turned in at 12. Tired but had good weekend.
1934 Mon. Up at 7. Class all morning. [?] etc. [?] mostly all afternoon. - I might had [?] mailing - [?] in a shut side with [?]. Then [sorting?] party at [McCurgin?]. Turned in at 10:40. Tired + with awful headache. [?] got it? ([cold and?])
JANUARY 23 1936 Wed. Up at 6. Opened station this A.M. [?] didn't [?]. Off at 12:30 + came [?] to [?] from 1:30 to 6 - pretty tired and [?] hurt. Wrote [?] + [what in?] I see at [?]. [?] turning in at 11:11.
1931 Fri. Had a good time at the formal. Took [?] back to Cal and got in bed at 5 A.M. Viv is O.K. and so were the rest of the gals but give me Larry.
1932. Sat. Worked + [?] all day. [Cali?] is in a very fort B.B. [?] tonight 2231. [?] 11:30 turning in [?].
1933 Mon. Slept thru [?] this morning. Heard [Chapin?] went [speech?] making this afternoon [?] [?] tonight. Did a little work. Turning in at 11:15. Pooped, cold, headache. [?] today.
1934 Tues. [?] this A.M. 3 [?] steady today. got [?] today. [?] [?] this evening - now [?] - Turning in at 11:00 after [?[ a long day. Not so tired + feel much better than yesterday.
