Hi Darling

This must be conscientiously short because I manaed to get everything done this
weekend but my Anthro paper which is due in 1 hour and had better not be more than
a day late. I was going to do it last night and did work on it for 1 1/2 hours but
I was just too exhausted to think and had a headache besides. So I gave up at
8:45 and slept until 6:30 this morning. I feel like a new person now and
will polish off the paper this morning I hope.

This fest yesterday was apparently a success. We had a crowd of people
perhaps 350. The entertainment which I half organized and 3 or 4 other pulled
beautifully into final shape went off quite nicely. We had a short talk on the
meaning of Valentines day 'followed by a brief okit illustrating Cupid making
people fall in love a very funny success. Then the Madugalssang John
Brudley and Geri Wilder did a hot Charleston I'm having led some Gemran
Volkslider (carried mostly by the Beutelsbachers!) and Susie Bchrman played a Debussey
piece. The food too was well received and ran out just at the right time so that
people left between 5 and 6 pm dinnertime. I spent most of the afternoon with
the Krauters taking time out for help with refreshments and they seemed to have had
a good time too.

I spent some time talking with MAC yesterday since we had open house in
all the buildings. She is getting tired of being in bed (5 days now) but is still pretty
darn sick and cant keep any food down. I'm pretty sure well be saying here next
weekend and putting Vienna off until sometime next quarter and its good to because
I can get a little German and Music done and also visit the Krautees and Fabuies.
MAC and Iare still hoping to spend the following 4 day weekend in Switzerland.

We had a sudden furious snowstorm during our entertainment period yester-
day afternoon and since the snow came quickly but as the show ended. I ran
for my camera and now have 2 pictures of the Burg in the snow not just one!

I finally realized last night that the Carol Maish who has been around
the Burgoff and on for the past 1 1/2 months (she is going with Howie Hursch who was
for the first 2 weeks our "sponsor" from the 3rd group) is the other missing chellist.
We had a fine chat at dinner last night and she reallced how concerned
Mr Hesse was last spring than you were too much in love to practice! Ahem!
You never mentioned that to me! She had Howie left last night by train for
England and home so I guess I'll have to go back to talking to MAC and MJE
about you and they're heard it all before.

Your crazy letter came yesterday eye shod it unle 2 match 2 chear
hur up u litl. I got a boot out of it too you crazy monkey and I sure do
love you an awful lot honey. And did I tell you before how perfect you Valentines
card was right on the button. Im sorry I couldn't find one over here for you
but you're my Valentine anyway night works?

I love you sweetheart and more each day we must have broken 120 by
now! Hot Dog!!!
