SCIRE proposal (Juan Vargas) - require money and moral support community medicine in deprived areas (SP) philosophy: "help people to help themselves" can seek funs from Stanford, community organizations, etc. need + a want from community for this program mostly in planning stages. proposal should be submitted by next week. 1st - trying to finance materials for a farmworker clinic.
E. Palo Alto Food Drive (Celso Ortiz) Food drive from B.A. for thanksgiving in process of writing letters to business for financing raffle: ticket prices not yet determined 1st prize: painting by Tony Burciaga 2nd prize: tequila list in Chicano Lib. for volunteers
"Gran Tardeada" OCT. 23 E.P.A ( " ) C.O. tickets $3.50 for meal, + dance. at St. Francis "La Quinta Clave" dinner: 4-6
letter to "Daily" regarding N. Americans symble (Eddie Sosa) decided not to make "Bonfire" an issue

CCPP - Coalition of Chicano Pre-Professionals (Sylvia Coral) moving into Nitery trying to move in 3 groups of pre-professionals to keep office hours open all of the time.

Hillel foundation - Zionism resolution by U.N. ( " ) M.E. asks for a vote pro or con to resolution by MECHA. decision postponed to MECHA meeting of Dec.7 where we will supposedly hear 1 or 2 speakers

graduation committee - set up accepting signatures Dec. 8 - meeting for Chicano Seniors
Dec. 5-8 selling Mexican food at Tressider at Christmas fair.
Need fund raisers $9.00 at Wells Fargo account possibly $200 in ASSU (M. Echaveste account) possibly E.P.A. ladies to cook tamales or whatever E.P.A. high school students talked to Anjie Briones about competitive dance on campus suggestion for possible dancers. possibly film series (or film) - questionable - within context of MECHA one can get loans for films
