Should he be removed from these Islands either by death or on account of his bad health the Mission will sustain a serious lost such as cannot be easily replaced both in our estimation and many of the Natives. The Lord has given him charming abilities and a disposition to preach to the Natives from whose lips they have often heard the precious  truths of the Gospel with delight.

      We are getting on with our vessel. All her timbers are in. We might have been farther on with her had we been as willing as we are able

notwithstanding all our indisposition of body. 

   Mr Shelley will settle the amount between you and me  Sir which amounts

to about six pounds, 

other part of the amount belongs to Mr Nott. I am owing that the Pork turned to as  .. amount.
