I often feel anxious about her health,
with those faint attacks that she has
You will be glad that Ellis Wickham
seems very happily married & so
delighted with her own little son –
Will you give my kindest love to
your dear mother, she also has
had her own affliction to meet of
late, I do send her my truest
sympathy. It is at these times
that the distance from ones own
is felt so keenly. I know it from
my own sad experience –

Sometimes I think now that were it
not for the strong ties which lead
us to Denmark periodically – I should
be much tempted to go to Australia
instead of visiting abroad in Europe
but I believe poor old Madame Falbe
would never recover such a shock.
Will you give my love to Uncle William
I wish I could look in upon you all
